Najia Al-Warimi Bou Ajila is a researcher, writer and professor of Arab Islamic civilization at the University of Tunis and the Higher Institute of Humanities in Tunis. Among her many areas of focus are heritage and the issues of modernization. She authored several books including On Agreement and Difference: The Duality of the Prevalent and Marginalized in Arab Islamic Thought, Digging through Khalduni
