Dr. Abdullah Ahmed Al-Madani is a Bahraini lecturer and academic researcher specializing in international relations and Asian affairs. He holds a doctorate in political science from the UK and a master’s in international relations and strategies from Boston University in the USA. Over the years, he participated in numerous international, regional and local conferences focusing on Asia, Arab-Asian relations, dialogue of civilizations and security and development Issues. He also wrote thousands of weekly analytical articles which have been published in leading international newspapers.

From the idea of a house that opens its door to the cultures and sciences of the peoples, to the house whose owner used to write and gather what happens in the place and outside it … the house of Abdullah Al Zayed was the first to found journalism in Bahrain with a modern press and library. He was also the first to open a cinema. He was the only editor who worked passionately to publish the weekly Bahrain Newspaper, and even encouraged aspirants to write about literature and culture.
