Hailing from Constantine, Algeria, Karima Ben Darraj boasts a wealth of experience in academia and media alike. She holds a PhD in urban sociology with a focus on tourism services and tourism marketing for cities. Her media experience encompasses numerous Arab newspapers and magazines. She also taught in several universities and heads the sociology team at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Abdel Hamid Mehri University in Constantine. She frequently participates in academic and scientific conferences and seminars.
