About Bin Matar Art Space

The Bin Matar House is a non-for profit art space that provides a platform for local and international artists to showcase their art and engage with a wider audience regarding their artistic practice.

Education and an exchange of ideas are central aspect of the program. The Bin Matar House nurtures this through hosting international exhibitions and a sustained program of artist talks, lectures, workshops and panel discussions.

Founded in 2009, the Bin Matar House has been at the forefront of the art scene in Bahrain with carefully curated exhibitions of established artists as well as challenging opportunities for younger and emerging artists.
