Ibrahim Al-Mulaifi is a Kuwaiti writer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political sciences from Kuwait University. He has served as editor-in-chief of Al-Araby magazine since 2019, as well as working as a writer and editor in a number of magazines and newspapers, including Al-Takween cultural magazine, Al-Qabas daily newspaper, Al-Seyassah daily newspaper, Al-Hadaf weekly newspaper, and Afaq, a university newspaper. He also works as a part-time reporter for Al-Sharq al-Awsat and Al-Hayat newspapers and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association since 2019. Al-Mulaifi was a member of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Society for Human Rights, the Journalists Association and the Writers Association in Kuwait.

From the idea of a house that opens its door to the cultures and sciences of the peoples, to the house whose owner used to write and gather what happens in the place and outside it … the house of Abdullah Al Zayed was the first to found journalism in Bahrain with a modern press and library. He was also the first to open a cinema. He was the only editor who worked passionately to publish the weekly Bahrain Newspaper, and even encouraged aspirants to write about literature and culture.
