Asma Al Hamadi
An Emirati poet and writer, she holds a master’s degree in Arabic language and literature. She is a member of the Emirates Writers Union, and the Emirates Female Writers Association. She has published two collections of poetry entitled In the Face of the Winds and O Spoken Wall, as well as two short stories collections entitled A Broken Wall Clock. She wrote a weekly column for the Emirati newspaper Al Roeya from 2013 to 2018, and writes poetry in both classical and Nabati Arabic.
