Ahmed Al-Mulla is a Saudi poet and filmmaker. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from the College of Arts at King Saud University. He is considered one of the pioneers of the Saudi film industry as the founder and manager of the Saudi Film Festival. He also heads the National Film Archive Center initiative in Saudi Arabia. Al-Mulla held several positions over his career, including Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts, Director of the Society for Culture and Arts in Dammam, Administrative Director and member of the Eastern Province Literary Club, among others. He received the Mohammed Al-Thubaiti Poetry Prize from Al-Taif Literary Club and was recognized in the 3rd GCC Film Festival and the Saudi Film Competition in Riyadh.

When his soul left his body and this world, he left a house for poetry, a place for his things, and walls where the poetry he loved would remain. The Bahraini poet Ibrahim Al Arrayed, and all those who (followed) him in his literary journey and translated works, were retained by the Sheikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research in his city which he belonged, Manama. For it was the house of fame, as the first among the homes of cultural centers outside the city of Muharraq.
