A Saudi poet, born in Qatif, Al-Khunaizi lived in Iraq between 1971 and 1974, then moved to America to study between 1980 and 1985. He is considered a leading figure of the Saudi prose poem since the eighties. He published “Awaham Saghirah” (Little Illusions) and “Ekhtibar Al-Hasa” (The Sense Test).
