The exhibition will be held until June 22, 2023.

Raed Bawayah has lived Ramallah and Paris since 2006. He has received several commissions from the City of Paris, the Center National des Arts Plastiques and the Ministry of Culture.
Later, his work “Vivre en Palestine” will be presented at the Perpignan International Photojournalism Festival “Visa pour l’Image”, as well as at the Photography Festival “Les Rencontres d’Arles”.  His work is exhibited in many countries such as: Germany, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Luxembourg, Russia, United Arab Emirates and Malaysia.  His works are kept in
several collections of museums, foundations and private collections around the world such as : the European House of Photography of Paris, of the Schloss Akademie Solitude of Stuttgart in Germany, the Minister of Culture in France, the collection of the city of Paris and others.
Since his arrival in Paris, Raed has traveled extensively to carry out his photographic documentary projects, in Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America as well as in his native country.  During these trips, he produced many series such as “Faces Shadow” in Germany in 2007, “La Couleur du Soleil” in Romania in 2007, “Les Serres Froides” in Russia in 2009, “Les Ames Blanches et Noires” in Austria  in 2010, “Bon Voyage” in France, in 2006-2010, “The Veins of the Earth” in Palestine in 2012, “Les Sables
Hot”, in Colombia in 2013, “The Lips of the Nile” in Egypt in 2019, and more recently “The Darkness of Light” in Mauritania in 2021, and in 2022 “Last Moments in Altitude” in Palestine.
Photography is a human commitment, a tool for spreading messages and transgressing borders. Raed was able to live the experience of exploring foreign communities and marginalized groups, and restore a very poetic vision.  The mentally illness, the excluded, the abnormal are subjects that interest him by their human strength, in resonance with his personal history.  So he tries to represent what society discredits.  It is this human nature of photography that interests the artist.  His series show us that we are all part of one and the same humanity.
