A Palestinian musician and composer born in Beirut, Jihad Akl studied classical music under the tutelage of his father, Ahmed Saeed and pursued his studies in musical arrangement, composition and solo playing. He worked with the accompanying bands of prominent Lebanese and Arab artists such as Fayrouz, Wadea Al-Safi and Majida Al-Roumi, and won numerous awards, as well as presenting events around the world and releasing several albums and music videos.
