Art historian, graduated from the Moscow State University, department of Art History. In 1981 completed her postgraduate study. curator of the international projects in the leading museums of Russia and abroad, general director of the State Tretyakov Gallery (since 2015). Zelfira Tregulova was awarded honorary diplomas by the President of Russian Federation and Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation, by the Ordine della Stella d’Italia as a cavalier, by the order pro Merito Melitensi (Sovereign Military Order of Malta, 2012, French Order for merits in art and literature (2018).
