Roueïda Ayache graduated from the “Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture”, in Paris and obtained a master’s degree in philosophy from La Sorbonne University, Paris. Ayache is one of the partners of Architecturestudio founded in Paris in 1973 which has grown throughout the years and developed offices in Paris, Shanghai, Zug (Switzerland) and Abidjan. In addition to her engagement as an architect, Roueïda Ayache has been vice-president of AFEX (French Architects Overseas’ Association) since 2012. She has participated in the juries of many international competitions and was the co-author and speaker of a TV documentary “Promenade ‘Architecte, les Villes du Golfe, Manama, Doha, Dubai”, a program of France 5 channel, which was granted an award by UNESCO. She has also given numerous lectures around the world on the themes of contemporary architecture and urban design.
