Sheikh Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi is an Emirati activist, writer, art collector, and businessman. He is a non-resident fellow at the Dubai School of Government, the founder and CEO of Barjeel Securities, and a fellow at the MIT Media Lab. Specializing in Arab affairs, he writes for various newspapers and platforms, including The New York Times. Al Qassemi founded the Barjeel Art Foundation, which houses a collection of over 600 artworks by Arab artists. His foundation has organized exhibitions around the world, showcasing the richness and diversity of modern and contemporary Arab art.
