Dr. Osama Ashazli is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Ain Shams University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and a PhD in Orthopedic Surgery. He is considered one of the pioneers of foot and ankle surgery in Egypt and the Arab world. He serves as President of the Egyptian Orthopedic Association and Chair of the Orthopedic Surgery Training Committee at the Arab Board of Health Specializations. Alongside his medical career, he has a notable literary presence as the author of acclaimed novels such as The Papers of Shimon the Egyptian. His works blend philosophical depth with a quest for identity and a focus on contemporary human issues, earning him a distinguished place among critics and readers alike.
