Ahmad Ali Al-Zein is a Lebanese novelist and journalist who has been working in Lebanese and Arab journalism since the late 1970s. He has written for numerous Lebanese and Arab newspapers and has produced a significant amount of dramatic, cultural, political, and documentary programs for radio and television. The Arab audience knows Al-Zein through his appearances since 2022 on his program “Rawafid” on Al Arabiya Channel, where he hosts Arab intellectuals and artists. In 2010, the program won the Gold Award for Best Cultural and Educational Program at the Gulf Radio and Television Festival. Ahmad Al-Zein also began his literary career as a novelist in the late 1980s, with his novels reflecting his rural memories as well as the social and human dimensions of conflicts and wars.
