Dr. Abdullah Belkeziz, Professor of Western Philosophy and Islamic Thought at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Hassan II University in Casablanca, Morocco, has been honored by the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO) as the “Symbol of Arab Culture for the Year 2024.” He has received several awards, including the Moroccan Prize in 2009, the Sultan Qaboos Award for Thought, Arts, and Literature in 2013, and the Moroccan Book Prize in 2013. Dr. Belkeziz previously served as the Secretary-General of the Moroccan Arab Forum and was the Director of Studies at the Center for Arab Unity Studies in Beirut. He has authored over sixty books on philosophy, humanities, and Islamic studies, as well as more than ten literary works including novels, prose, and poetry.
