With the support of the Embassy of Spain in Kuwait, The guitar and violin duo of Orbon and Fernandez offer an eclectic program featuring the music of Spain and its influence on the music of the Americas. Their music is born from the fusion of two worlds and cultures, creating an indelible memory and sensation much like that of the distant sounds of horses galloping in the night. Armando Orbón studied with Maestro Regino Sainz de la Maza. He has received awards from numerous institutions in America and Spain, and has spread Spanish music throughout more than 100 countries. He has collaborated with musicians and intellectuals such as Joan Pámies, Diego “El Cigala” or Emilio Ribera, among others. He has performed in many places, such as the National Theater of Havana, the Abu Dhabi Grand Auditorium, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC and the Mohamed V Theater in Rabat.Lorena Fernández is a music and violin teacher. In 2018, it is awarded the prize for the best entrepreneurship (City Council of Castrillón). Founder and member of the Orquesta de los Adioses (Castrillón), organizing and participating as a performer and soloist at the Spectamusic Festival (Salinas). She has participated in the recording of soundtracks for films and short films, as the candidate for the Goya Awards and winner in several film festivals, La mujer del hatillo gris, starring María Botto, El refugio del mal, Féliz Cábez´s score or El corazón delator starring Paul Naschy. She has composed Vocalise, We are one helping everyone (Comenius project), Cuadros Vivos and La niña de la nube, written by Paco Abril. Collaborator as a music critic in La Nueva España and she runs the educational section El Recreo in Cadena SER
