Naseer Shamma is a renowned Iraqi musician and oud player, considered one of the most prominent Arab artists in the field of oud performance. He was born in the city of Kut, Iraq, and graduated from the Institute of Musical Studies in Baghdad. Naseer Shamma is distinguished by his unique style of playing the oud, incorporating innovative techniques and blending tradition with modernity in his music.
