Manuela Lucà-Dazio holds a degree in architecture from the University of Naples and a Ph.D. in history of architecture from the University of Roma-Chieti. She has been an honorary professor at Tongji University in Shanghai since 2023 and was appointed executive director of the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2021. Prior to this, she was executive director of the Visual Arts and Architecture Department of the Venice Biennale, where she was formerly responsible for the technical organization and production of international exhibitions. She also worked on the Venice Film Festival.
