Dr. AbdelMenem Al Husni is a prominent Omani media figure and academic. He served as Oman’s Minister of Information from 2012 to 2020 and is a Professor of Media at Sultan Qaboos University. He holds a PhD in Mass Communication from the University of Leicester in the UK and has contributed extensively to research in media and journalism. Throughout his career, he has held several academic and professional positions, including Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tawasul Innovation Company and Assistant Dean of the College of Arts for Training and Community Service. His Excellency has received numerous prestigious Arab and international awards, including Media Personality of the Year in Jordan and the title of Leader of the General Union of Arab Artists. He has represented Oman at global academic conferences and forums and played an active role in the development of Omani and Arab media
