Mahmood Saad began his journalistic career with Sabah Al-Khair magazine. He took on the role of editorial head at the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Watan in Cairo during the 1980s. He then moved to Sayidaty magazine in the 1990s and served as editor-in-chief of Al-Kawkab magazine from 2002 to 2007. Saad transitioned to television with the program “Ala Waraq” on Dream Channel, later joining MBC and hosted “Al-Bayt Beytak” on Egyptian television. He then moved to Al-Nahar Channel to present “Akher Al-Nahar.”In 2021, Saad launched a new phase in his media career with his own YouTube channel, where he hosts the program Bab Al-Khalq. In 2023, he launched a new media experience, SoldOut, which features a series of artistic performances at various Egyptian theaters. The program allows audiences to book tickets and is broadcast on CBC and the WATCHIT platform.
From the idea of a house that opens its door to the cultures and sciences of the peoples, to the house whose owner used to write and gather what happens in the place and outside it … the house of Abdullah Al Zayed was the first to found journalism in Bahrain with a modern press and library. He was also the first to open a cinema. He was the only editor who worked passionately to publish the weekly Bahrain Newspaper, and even encouraged aspirants to write about literature and culture.
