Zolaykha Abdel Rahman Abu Risha is a Jordanian writer, author, and critic. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the University of Jordan, a Master’s degree in Children’s Literature, and a PhD in Feminist Criticism from the University of Exeter, UK. She worked in education, educational administration, and journalism, and participated in various literary and women’s organizations. She has a collection of literary works, including a short story collection and poetry volumes, and has received literary awards. She also contributed to studies in children’s literature and feminist criticism.
When his soul left his body and this world, he left a house for poetry, a place for his things, and walls where the poetry he loved would remain. The Bahraini poet Ibrahim Al Arrayed, and all those who (followed) him in his literary journey and translated works, were retained by the Sheikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research in his city which he belonged, Manama. For it was the house of fame, as the first among the homes of cultural centers outside the city of Muharraq.
