The Guqin, recognized as the earliest stringed instrument in China, holds a special place in Chinese culture. Ms. Li Cun began her journey with the Guqin at a young age, learning from her father. Today, she serves as a professor and master tutor at Xi'an Conservatory of Music. Additionally, she is the Director of both the Northwest National Music Research Center and the Chinese Piano Research Laboratory at Xi'an Conservatory of Music. She also oversees the Art Museum and is an executive member of the Musical Instrument Professional Committee of the Chinese Museum Association while leading efforts at the "Guqin Restoration Research Center." Her work primarily focuses on teaching and research in areas such as "guqin performance and theory" and "folk music creation and theory."
