Nabil Mahmoud Yousef Amr (born in Hebron) is a politician, former minister in the Palestinian Authority, advisor to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for culture and media, member of the Palestinian Writers and Journalists Union, and ambassador of the State of Palestine to Egypt until 2009. Nabil Amr studied at Damascus University and obtained a Bachelor of Law degree and received an honorary doctorate from the International Informatics Academy. Nabil Amr has written many political articles and has two books: “Days of Love and Siege” about the work of the Palestinian radio during the Battle of Beirut in 1982 and “A Thousand Days in Moscow” about the Middle Eastern policy of the Soviet Union and the facts of the collapse of the superpower and the Gulf War.
