Since 2002, more than 400 artists, speakers, philosophers and poets have visited the Shaikh Ebrahim Center to share their art and thoughts in this venue dedicated to the open exchange of ideas and knowledge. To accommodate an ever larger audience, a new auditorium opened in December 2008, with a seating capacity of around 300.

The center is closed on the first two days of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha.
