Lukmatina, an intimate cafe located in one of the old houses, offers a respite to visitors passing by. Its name carries a small secret: it is a combination of “luqma” a small bite, and “teen” or fig, a reference to the old tree which has provided shade since the house was built and continues to watch over the beautiful ancient city. Lukmatina is a place to reflect, take in the beauty and sate the appetite.
