Prof. Dr. working at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) at the Institute of Nuclear Science Technologies, with more than ten years of experience in research and development. She holds a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics from the University of Bern – “Albert Einstein Institute for High Energy”, Switzerland and PhD in Diplomacy International Relations. The first woman from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries to join the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) as a researcher, and the organization honored her for that. Her research experience focused on designing, simulating, and then operating radioactive detectors to reveal the secrets of the universe, as well as in the field of accelerators to serve science and humanity.
