Yousef Abdullah Al-Dini is a Saudi researcher. He studied political science and applied Islam and has worked in journalism since 1999. Al-Dini has been an opinion writer in Asharq Al-Awsat since 2005, with books and critical research on the roots of terrorism, extremism, movements, and terrorist organizations in the region. He has written dozens of refereed papers for international research centers, published books on political Islam, governance, extremism, and the dilemma of terrorism, and has actively contributed to many conferences around the world. He is now a consultant in development and heritage at the Madinah Development Authority.

From the idea of a house that opens its door to the cultures and sciences of the peoples, to the house whose owner used to write and gather what happens in the place and outside it … the house of Abdullah Al Zayed was the first to found journalism in Bahrain with a modern press and library. He was also the first to open a cinema. He was the only editor who worked passionately to publish the weekly Bahrain Newspaper, and even encouraged aspirants to write about literature and culture.
