Dr. Rasha Samir is a novelist, journalist, a member of the Egyptian Writers Union, a dentist and a master’s degree in oral and dental medicine and surgery from Cairo University. Dr. Samir began her literary career at the age of fifteen, where she published her first collection of short stories. She has ten books and writes her articles on a weekly basis for Al Fagr newspaper. She won the best novelist in 2018 in the readers’ poll in the Egyptian newspaper Al-Fagr. Dr. Rasha Participates in Arab exhibitions, seminars, and conferences since 2015.
From the idea of a house that opens its door to the cultures and sciences of the peoples, to the house whose owner used to write and gather what happens in the place and outside it … the house of Abdullah Al Zayed was the first to found journalism in Bahrain with a modern press and library. He was also the first to open a cinema. He was the only editor who worked passionately to publish the weekly Bahrain Newspaper, and even encouraged aspirants to write about literature and culture.
