Mai Muzaffar, an Iraqi poet, and writer, holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Baghdad, has published several books written and translated from English, as well as published many articles and studies in arts in Arabic and English. May Muzaffar’s list of books includes poetry, short stories, and biographical literature, as well as studies on modern art, the manifestations of Arabic letters, the art of engraving, printing, and others. In addition to her writing and research devotion, May Muzaffar has worked at the Royal Academy for Research on Islamic Civilization in Oman and at prestigious cultural institutions and magazines.

When his soul left his body and this world, he left a house for poetry, a place for his things, and walls where the poetry he loved would remain. The Bahraini poet Ibrahim Al Arrayed, and all those who (followed) him in his literary journey and translated works, were retained by the Sheikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research in his city which he belonged, Manama. For it was the house of fame, as the first among the homes of cultural centers outside the city of Muharraq.
