An Iraqi journalist, novelist and translator who resided in France for 27 years before moving to the United Arab Emirates, Shaker Noori worked in the field of journalism and media since 1970 and utilized his creative writing skills to author numerous works, including 8 novels that focus on the concern for his homeland in light of the various wars and political upheavals it experienced.
