Omar Raji is a Moroccan poet and researcher at Abdelmalek Saadi University in Tangier, Morocco. He holds a master’s degree in economic sciences from Ibn Zohr University in Agadir, and a doctorate in cultural development from Abdelmalek Saadi University. Raji contributes to the cultural field as a writer in several Arab newspapers and magazines and has authored many publications, poetry collections, and scientific articles. He has won many awards, including the Poetry Award from the Asilah Forum Foundation and the Allal El Fassi Foundation Award for the best poetic work. He reached the finals of the Prince of Poets program in the United Arab Emirates and won the Palestine International Foundation Award for the best poetry collection in Jordan, the Suad Al-Sabah Poetry Foundation Award, and the Al-Babtain International Foundation Award for Best Poem in the youth category.

When his soul left his body and this world, he left a house for poetry, a place for his things, and walls where the poetry he loved would remain. The Bahraini poet Ibrahim Al Arrayed, and all those who (followed) him in his literary journey and translated works, were retained by the Sheikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research in his city which he belonged, Manama. For it was the house of fame, as the first among the homes of cultural centers outside the city of Muharraq.
