Jamil Abu Sbeih is a Jordanian poet. He has been a member of the Jordanian Writers Association since its founding and headed its Zarqa branch since 2011. He is also a member of several Arab and international cultural bodies, including the General Union of Arab Writers and Authors, the Union of Writers of Asia, Africa and South America, the Global Union of Poets of Freedom and Peace and others. Abu Sbeih published 15 poetry collections, some of which were translated into English, French, Italian, German and Hebrew. He was recognized in many Arab and international poetry festivals, cultural clubs and literary associations.

When his soul left his body and this world, he left a house for poetry, a place for his things, and walls where the poetry he loved would remain. The Bahraini poet Ibrahim Al Arrayed, and all those who (followed) him in his literary journey and translated works, were retained by the Sheikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research in his city which he belonged, Manama. For it was the house of fame, as the first among the homes of cultural centers outside the city of Muharraq.
