Poet, journalist, cultural editor and member of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate. She graduated from the College of Media (Mass Communication) at Cairo University. Worked in cultural journalism for years in Egyptian and Arab newspapers, including Al-Ahram, Al-Hayat (London) and Al-Diyar. She conducted numerous interviews with leading Egyptian and Arab writers and creators and wrote a series of cultural articles, which include interpretations of a huge number of important Egyptian, Arabic and translated publications, books and novels. Her catalogue also includes several poems which were published in Egyptian and Arab publications, some of which were translated into French and Kurdish.

When his soul left his body and this world, he left a house for poetry, a place for his things, and walls where the poetry he loved would remain. The Bahraini poet Ibrahim Al Arrayed, and all those who (followed) him in his literary journey and translated works, were retained by the Sheikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research in his city which he belonged, Manama. For it was the house of fame, as the first among the homes of cultural centers outside the city of Muharraq.
