Buthaina Al-Issa is a Kuwaiti novelist and writer who has been the director of Takween Publishing since 2016. She earned a master’s degree in business administration with a major in finance from Kuwait University’s College of Administrative Sciences. She is a member of the the Kuwait Writers Association as well as the Arab Internet Writers « :Union. She has written several novels, including «ارتطام »، « سعار »، « عروس المطر»، « تحت أقدام الأمهات » ،« قيس وليلى والذئب »، « عائشة تنزل إلى العالم السفلي».
