The title ‘All-Purpose’ refers to a known expression used for construction material and/ or products that are used for more than a single purpose, and it also refers to the systematic consumption of stone in Palestine as a physical and symbolic matter serving multi-layered agendas. All-Purpose builds up its content on stone matters, it is a six-year-long experiment-based research that formalizes into a series of site-specific stone structures in Palestine. The work was first presented in the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale that ran from May to November 2021, and following Venice, the work is set to be installed in Jericho, Palestine where real estate projects have annihilated the use of public spaces. The work will be made available as a private space/living room/diwan, placed in a public setting to be used for all purposes
