A Saudi author and storyteller, Ahmed Abu Dahman was born in the village of Al Khalaf in the Asir region in southern Saudi Arabia. He resides in the French capital Paris where he wrote the French novel The Belt published by Gallimard which was met with tremendous success in France. The first Saudi writer to write in French, his novel was translated into 12 languages, the Arabic version of which was written by Abu Dahman himself. Abu Dahman writes a weekly column in the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadh entitled “Night Talk “, oversees the office of Al-Yamamah Media Company in Paris and heads the Riyadh-based Al-Hizam Media Consultancy.
At a later date, the Abdullah Al Zayed house had to grow. The Sheikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center expanded it with a special addition in March of 2010.
