Mai Al Moataz is an artist and designer who uses black and white film to produce photographs through a meticulous analog darkroom process, a deeply cathartic ritual. Her work is an exploration of dualities and paradoxes, absence and presence, where she uses time, space, light and chemistry to deconstruct her experiential universe.
