Manuel Rabaté is the Director of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, He graduated from the Institute of Political Studies and the Graduate School of Business in Paris. He held numerous posts over his career, including Deputy Director of the Louvre Museum Theater in Paris and Deputy Director of Cultural Development at the Quai Branly Museum in Paris. Manuel led the launch of several international exhibitions and has been serving as Director of the Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi since its inauguration in 2017. Since 2013 Rabaté has served as CEO of the Agence France-Muséums, which was launched with the aim of supporting the Louvre Abu Dhabi project in accordance with the agreement signed between the governments of Abu Dhabi and France.

The house itself, located at the heart of the city, opens its doors to cultural production in the fields of thought, literature, politics, philosophy, culture and art.
