In order to preserve Palestinian embroidery heritage and promote Palestinian identity, an exhibition entitled “Woven Stories” will be held at the Shaikh Ebrahim Centre for Culture and Research. The event is organized by the Association for the Development of Palestinian Camps (INAASH). Established in 1969, INAASH is a Lebanese NGO founded by a group of Lebanese and Palestinian women. Since its inception, it has worked to promote charitable and national goals in various social, humanitarian, cultural and economic fields. Despite facing difficulties at the local, national and international levels, the organization carries on its humanitarian, cultural and artistic mission and stayed true to vision of preserving the Palestinian embroidery heritage. ahrain and the UAE.
When his soul left his body and this world, he left a house for poetry, a place for his things, and walls where the poetry he loved would remain. The Bahraini poet Ibrahim Al Arrayed, and all those who (followed) him in his literary journey and translated works, were retained by the Sheikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research in his city which he belonged, Manama. For it was the house of fame, as the first among the homes of cultural centers outside the city of Muharraq.
