Rashed Issa is a Jordanian-Palestinian writer and poet. He holds a teaching degree for Arabic from the Higher Teachers Qualification College in Amman. He also studied Arabic and literature at the University of Jordan from which he obtained a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a doctorate. He worked as an Arabic teacher in Saudi Arabia for many years before returning to Jordan. He was appointed as the editor-in-chief of the Jordanian magazine Al-Katib and is a member of the Jordanian Writers Association and the Curriculum Authoring Committee in Jordan’s Ministry of Education. His poetry and articles appeared in Arab magazines, and he published poetry collections, books on criticism, communication and life skills, collections of songs for children, and short story collections.
