An Iraqi poet, born in Baghdad, Al-Saadi holds a degree in modern Arabic literature in 2007 and a doctoral student at Al-Mustansiriya University. He is member of the General Union for the Literaries and Writers in Iraq. His first collection of poetry entitled (A Journey Without Color) was published in Baghdad in 1999 and the second collection entitled (His Life of Water) in 2009. Al-Saadi also published a critical book entitled (Poetics of the Day) in 2007. Saadi participated in many poetry festivals in Iraq and abroad.He is a presenter and cultural programmer for Al-Hurra TV-Iraq.
