Omani poet Shmeisa Al-Numani is a well-known figure in classical Arabic poetry in her native country. She received recognition in many literary competitions, including first prize in the 15th Literary Forum held in Oman. She is renowned for her deftness in Arabic poetic techniques and formulating profound meanings, images and metaphors.
