Ali Qadri, born in Galilee, is a Palestinian poet, translator, literary editor, and linguist. He works as a literary editor for Al-Ghad Al-Jadeed Cultural Magazine, which is published by the Al-Manar Association for Palestinian Culture and Identity. Through his two poetry collections (Diwans), Palestinian poet Ali Qadri introduces a new and bright conception of the concept of the language of poetry. Qadri has participated in many poetry writing workshops and literary evenings in Palestine. He is currently studying Arabic Language and Literature at the University of Haifa, and is preparing to write his doctoral thesis on Palestinian poetry.
